How Do Credits Work at BetterContact?

Updated on December 20th, 2024

You use credits to find emails or phone numbers. Let’s take a closer look at how they work and how you can get the most out of them.

What Can You Do with Credits?

Each credit finds one valid email, and it takes 10 credits to find one mobile phone number. The best part? You only get charged for a credit when we successfully find the information you’re looking for. If we do not find it, your credit stays safe and unused.

Credit Flexibility

You have complete flexibility with your credits. You can choose to use them however you want. Whether you want to spend all your credits on finding emails, phone numbers, or a mix of both, it’s up to you. Unlike other systems, we don’t limit you—you can use your credits your way.

Credit Sharing Across Workspaces

At BetterContact, credits are shared among all the members in your Workspace. When you invite someone new to join your Workspace, they’ll share the available credits with everyone else. This way, your whole team can use the credits together, based on your shared needs.

Credit Validity and Rollover

At BetterContact, we offer a flexible credit rollover system. If you don’t use all your credits by the end of the month, they roll over to the next month. But here’s the catch: they can only roll over to the limit of your current subscription.

For example:

  • If you have a subscription with 500 credits per month and you end the month with 400 unused credits, you’ll have 900 credits the next month.
  • Now, if you use 300 credits, you’ll have 600 left.
  • However, since your subscription limit is 500, only 500 credits will carry over, and 100 credits will expire.

This system ensures you get the benefit of carrying over unused credits without exceeding your plan’s limits.
